Has the formula changed? It made my hair soft and such, but I remember using this product all the time my hair was much softer and this product smelled much better. The first time I lather it smells disgusting to me. As. it smells almost like the old formula but then you get this stench and I can't describe it. Great shampoo (no conditioner). My scalp was a bit dry from using a different shampoo. One application revitalizes my scalp and relieves dryness. This may sound like an advertisement, but it's true.

A certain amount was obviously cut out of the shampoo because every time I bought this shampoo it was always filled to the brim. The black tape was put on by the Amazon packers so you can see I haven't opened or used anything. The price wasn't much better than what I can pay for shampoo/conditioner at CVS so I will only buy it there from now on to make sure I get the full amount of shampoo. 2 bottles of Herbal Essence were not full. It was missing, like 25% shampoo and conditioner. It didn't give my hair the softness, shine or thickness it promised. Overall I was very dissatisfied with the products. If I could I would ask for a refund, but having used both I know I won't get my money back!
