they work great for the purpose i bought them for. I have an expensive couch with tiny gold threads (very noticeable and ugly!) sticking out of it. Although expensive, I find the fabric to be poorly made. In any case, I could not carefully remove the threads with ordinary scissors. These scissors worked like clockwork, I can make almost microscopic cuts with no problems. I can't comment on how it compares to other sewing scissors as I've never owned one.

They arrived quickly and exactly as advertised. As a product, however, I had issues with them not cutting cleanly. They seemed almost misaligned. They seemed very sharp, but they cut as if they weren't sharp enough the entire length of the blade. I had to leave a cut on the end of the scissors.
