Summer Heritage Trainer Review

I bought a pair of these five years ago and only had to replace them two months ago - with another pair, exactly the same! On average I ride a few times a week so it wasn't a heavy use. They are by far my favorite gloves. I still prefer them to my insulated winter gloves when it's cold outside, and I've never felt hot in them in the summer.

Good gloves. They have mesh on the back but aren't cool enough to be a summer glove. I use it all year round, they are warm in winter. They have been beaten for 6 months and still look good. They even washed them a few times. Elastic enough to fit all hand shapes. The lining for the palm and fingers is hard. I stopped getting blisters after switching to this glove. The padding is medium, not slippery, not sticky, which I like.

Superb gloves! I was afraid to choose the size but they fit well. She used them when riding and working with horses. Good price and was a good glove, not cheap looking or cheaply made. She said they were hot but it was well over 90 the week she was there. So not unexpected. Black may also have played a role, but it was the only color I needed. I would definitely recommend her. I would consider stronger gloves if you use them daily for cleaning stalls etc. I bought them as riding gloves.

Another reviewer suggested downsizing if you are a half size and I agree. My glove size is 7.5 and 7 fits almost perfectly. They're a bit bulky and baggy to buckle on, so I wait until I'm already buckled in and my straps and stirrups are perfectly adjusted before putting them on. Usually they are good for a good grip on the reins. I say "most of the time" because one of the horses I ride likes to yank the reins from me whenever she gets the chance, and even the grips on those gloves do nothing…
