🧵 300-Piece Set of 1-Inch Hexagon English Paper Piecing (EPP) Review

It is not 1 inch. They are about 1/8 inch larger making them useless to continue the project I wanted them for.

Upon receipt, I noticed a lip all around. When I compared them to existing ones I bought elsewhere, they didn't reach the advertised 1 inch. In order for them to work, I have to cut each one manually.

It's AWESOME! Always a perfect fit and made of good, thick cardboard. I've bought many sets and each one has been great! I had a problem and they went out of their way to fix it! I LOVE this seller! The 200gsm material used for them (similar to the 70lb Astrobrite) is NOT the kind you would flash and then rip out. I use a hole punch to punch a hole in the center of the hexagons so they can be removed later. This is the kind that you sew together and then remove when all the pieces are sewn…

I'm making a patchwork quilt with hex tags. I had to do some hand stitching while recovering from surgery. I use all my leftover fabric and have made over 300 hexagons so far. I know you can reuse them but I ordered another pack of 300 because I want to continue making them before assembling the quilt. With this product, it is very easy to staple hexagons and sewing them together is just as easy and fun.

I don't normally give anyone or anything a bad review, but this made me sad. I've been working on a quilt using 1 inch hex paper pieces for MONTHS. I believed they would be accurate, paper inaccuracies could result in a terrible quilt. I thought there was something wrong with the specific block, so I checked. FAR, and I've made hundreds with this product only to find now that they're not consistent enough for the task. If anyone knows how to fix the blocks please let me know. I think I'll have…
