Good vice. A little smaller maybe 3 inches would be better for a mini plant.

Vise is excellent and parts can be flipped to hold larger parts. It's too big for my mini cutter, and my mini cutter isn't strong enough to cut cleanly, so the bits break off. So I have to work on tightening the mill wedges and I think the vise would be better on a bigger mill.

Heavy Duty Milling Vise for Machine and Hand Tools

Weight over 25 lbs. Machine operation looks fine on guide and slide blocks, but there is no Acme thread on the lead screw. It's a standard left-hand triangle thread, so I have a fake? The vise adjustment knob is a very sloppy fit as the screw is a 12mm hex and the knob is a 1/2" (12.7mm) hex millimeter head or ratchet wrench. I would like to know why my 95 "Dollar vise shouldn't have a cross thread should be. I paid for a real vicuña but got a lot less. Edit: Warning! I got severe cuts from the

Excellent milling vise for your money

vise arrived in good condition. The styrofoam in the box had cracked from the weight, but the vise and handle were intact. The packaging could have been better. The workmanship seems to be better than most other Chinese products. As several other buyers have noted, the edges of the molding and sponge are extremely sharp and could easily cut your fingers. Before using it, you MUST spend about an hour beveling and deburring all edges with a good file. The edges are sharper than my pocket knife…
