Probably used

The disk that was never listed as used (actually never listed as new) already had an operating system installed. The product was listed as OEM, which to me has always meant "new, bought in bulk, sold with no box or instructions", not "OEM used this drive and then decided to sell it". I contacted New World IT about this and asked if shipping a used drive was a mere accident or a common practice under the expanded definition of "OEM". You never came back to me. However, the drive was correct and…

This is a small hard drive. Yes.

It's definitely a small hard drive. There are no comparability issues when plugged in, formatted for use, or used. It's 7200 rpm, which runs as fast as expected. Have been using ours for just over 4 months and with no problems. General? It's a nice little drive that works exactly as it's supposed to. Recommend!

  • Great design

7200 rpm laptop hard drive at a reasonable price.

So far so good. Has been working without problems for a few days now. Replaced a failed drive in a Dell XPS laptop, installed Windows 10 and everything works fine. Fits perfectly. No trace of previously installed items (no existing partitions, etc.). Calm. I haven't run any tests but would say it's as fast as my desktop 7200rpm drive (launching and loading apps). Seems to be faster than most 5400rpm laptop drives I've come across. On this laptop, the drive is located under the top (plastic)…

Well packaged and very safe

Came in an anti-static bag and a huge layer of bubble wrap. Also, it was placed in a small, sturdy 4x5 inch cardboard box. Double checked the drive with the SMART app and found no errors. The disc was fine. The production date was July 13th, which is still not bad for a high-quality and large drive.Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase. Please note that when searching the internet, the drive turned out to be a bit slower than mine Toshiba 320, 5400 rpm drive, by a millisecond, otherwise…

HGST Travelstar 320 GB

Drive works; But after installing a clean version of Windows 10, I noticed that "Bad Sectors" was showing up on the drive when I ran the hard drive diagnostics. NOT good for a new hard drive straight out of the box!

They are what they are, but they are old, very old!

I bought 5 of these to replace the RAID arrays in our POS systems. I had one that started clicking after a while, so toast. Since the 30-day return period had expired, I went to the manufacturer's website and wanted to apply. When I entered the serial number it said it was not a guarantee. I thought it was only a few months old, how can that be. Then I looked closely at the disc and realized it was produced in December 2012 and I only bought it in 2019, so this disc was made 7 years ago. I then
