The disk that was never listed as used (actually never listed as new) already had an operating system installed. The product was listed as OEM, which to me has always meant "new, bought in bulk, sold with no box or instructions", not "OEM used this drive and then decided to sell it". I contacted New World IT about this and asked if shipping a used drive was a mere accident or a common practice under the expanded definition of "OEM". You never came back to me. However, the drive was correct and (after being cleaned by the operating system) has worked perfectly so far. If it had been marked as 'used' I probably would have bought it anyway. I just wanted to give you more clarity on that. EDIT: New World IT contacted me and clarified a few things. These discs come from multiple sources, including some where they could be used sparingly, like mine. You also do not control the description Revain uses for an item. Third, they were in the middle of a customer service overhaul and apologized for the delay in responding to me. So overall the drive works fine, the customer service was slow but commendable, and I understand that the drive can't be fresh off the tape.
