Pleasantly surprised by the quality - I use it to attach my GoPro camera to gear I remove, the magnet is very strong and the hand positioning is accurate and stable.

Fine adjustment screw on the base bangs on the lever, requires a new thumbscrew with shorter thread length and no boss on the underside of the thumbscrew. The magnet is REALLY tight and difficult to turn, but it has good pulling power.

I've used other cheaper magnetic feet but this one isn't like them. The magnet actually has a good grip and the hand is stable! Sure, it's no Noga or Starrett, but for the price, it's pretty darn hard not to like it. My dovetail is a little tight but not bad, gently pry it out just enough to insert the indicator. The fine adjustment screw may be a bit unfamiliar for some, but it is quite useful. Would I buy again without hesitation Good: price, magnet strength, hard hand Bad: dovetail Ugly: ---
