My little bag of tricks

I bought this 'Hi-Lift' off-road kit to complement my '36' Hi-Lift jack. I wanted to have as many benefits as possible in my hour of need and recommend this off-road kit in addition to your hi-lift jack.

Pros
  • Something in there
Cons
  • Doubtful

Looks decent enough.

One of those purchases that you might need but hopefully never have to use. I loaded it into my truck just in case. Complements my 60" jack. The tool pouch is good and holds a lot of gear. I've added extra D-rings and still have room for the lever blocks.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Crumpled Package

What can you do? suitable for External accessories

The set is quite good. The price, although lower than elsewhere, is quite high. 2 hooks, 2 short pieces of chain, tow strap, shackles and a pair of gloves should cost $20-$30. The 2 ends connecting the chains to the jack and bag are the source of all costs.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Negative gift

A must when off-road

A must when you leave the pavement. It got us and a few of our friends out of some sticky situations. A tree lanyard is a must and required at some parks we've been to. There's a learning curve to achieving everything he's capable of, but it's worth learning. It stays in the jeep where we always put it. The hull is good and well preserved. The old jeep has no top so gets very wet but nothing rusts or rots.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • A little change

Great Items - Winch Accessories

There are two extremes, one for a 2013 2dr Rubicon and one for a 1986 M1009 SHTF. Transport of the bag in a jeep with a 2-inch rear hitch, if necessary transfer to another vehicle. The question I have is, is this the normal way to ship this item with no taped sides, no lid or anything to protect against theft? Received a "box" on the porch, no shipping box or shipping list, just a box, not even sealed with tape! An inventory of things is made, everything is in place. There must be a better…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Some assembly required

My only concern is the mounting hardware that attaches it to the socket. When I'm stuck in the mud or standing on a rock, that's not the time I want to rummage through my toolbox for a wrench to attach those things to my jack. The kit even includes a pin with a wire lock to get your jack's leg out quickly. Why not do the same for brackets? I'll go to the local farm shop to see if I can find the correct fasteners and throw a nut and bolt in the tool box for spares. Haven't had the chance to pull

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • There are bugs
