In terms of value for money, this is the best on Amazon; The glue works so fast though! After doing a little project with my kid we ran out of 9 glue sticks! The gun heats up slowly, but the temperature is enough to burn your hand when it's hottest, so don't let kids play with it alone!

Can't complain too much for $4 considering it even comes with glue and it came just like that. I just wish the warm up didn't take so long. Fair point, don't let kids watch and wait because their patience can't match the speed of this hot glue gun. Otherwise the product worked as expected. Oh, also the built in kickstand isn't great and seems like it's going to break so make sure you have a good spot to put it up as the kickstand is useless.

You get what you pay for. I am looking for a mini hot glue gun to replace the one I bought over 15 years ago. This one is far from the same quality. The plastic seems a lot cheaper and it leaks glue like crazy. The trigger is also loose in the sense that you can pull it and nothing will come out. It is difficult to control the glue flow. This mini glue gun is perfect! No, nobody paid me for this review :p Really! I didn't expect this weapon to be so effective, but it helped me very effectively with my project. I had to wrap jute rope around an old shoe rack to make it look fancy and this little gun helped a lot, it gets really hot which is why it works so well and does a great job, at least with fabrics in my experience. If you look closely at the photos you will see that the gun uses mini glue sticks while the pack of 50 included in the kit is a full size. I bought this for an upcoming project and opened everything up to make sure everything was there, not realizing that it came with 50 packs of full size glue sticks. Because it took so long for all my other materials to arrive, I didn't realize they were the wrong size until it was too late. Needless to say, my return period has expired a few days and now I'm
