Similar to Vintage

Bought as a present for my brother who (after trying 10 different "modern" strains he didn't like) asked my mum if she had an old vintage strain , which we grew over 40 years ago . Obviously not. I read rave reviews about this performance, which is very similar to the vintage, so I bought it. He is very impressed and agrees. He cooks quite a bit and is EXTREMELY attentive so his thumbs up is telling me to rate that 5 stars!

Love this little helicopter

This is the exact same helicopter we have had for over 30 years. When the old one finally broke, my husband was absolutely clear that he couldn't replace it with an exact copy. Needless to say we have replaced it and this one is just as good. A low-tech way to cut vegetables. We often use it to chop onions, peppers, celery, etc. It's a quick and easy way to chop and you're done. No need to pull out the food processor for a small amount. We are very happy to find a replica of our much used and…

It gets the job done: Kitchen and dining room

NOT a high quality chipper. It's glass (a plastic disk covers the bottom of the glass). Remove the cardboard cover from the center post. I cut 2 peaches, cut them into chunks one by one. Just moves up and down, TILT and shake the jar to "rearrange" things BUT DO NOT turn the jar upside down to loosen the food, the bottom circle will pop out and you have to to empty. to reset it. The blades cover the lower circle area, a flat surface. It took 10 minutes to cut 2 peaches, easy to peel, DO NOT…

Great little gadget

I like it. I had one bought at the grocery store 30 years ago, but now they only sell an updated version of the OXO which has more moving parts and is more difficult to clean. It's just a basic unit; Add onion slices and garlic, chop for about a minute and you have a chopped onion. I hate chunks of onion or celery in my food, but I love the taste. And I don't want to use my hands to chop veggies into little mince chunks. Why would you do that when this thing is amazing? You have to rock it…

Inexpensive, works as intended.

Does what it's supposed to do - grinds/grinds nuts like walnuts etc. This doesn't feel like premium quality at all and isn't designed to grind nuts in bulk easily and quickly. But it's still operational after a few months of fairly constant use. For small frequent batches like cereal or a peanut butter sandwich, etc., this is better than pulling out a larger power supply, using it, and cleaning it out. And for the price you can't go wrong. Star removed only because "looks" not durable. But like

Loved it then and love it now

I had this hand chopper growing up learning how to bake. Continued to use it when I moved out on my own, later bought a house and later got married. During one of my moves I gave it away in favor of a larger capacity electric shredder. I quickly realized what a mistake I had made because I missed my little chopper so much and couldn't find a replacement for it for years. When my sister told me she found one at Revain I ordered it the same day. I loved it then and I love it now. It's perfect…

The best nut grinder ever!

Yes! I absolutely love this nut grinder! This is exactly what I was looking for! My mom has had the exact same style since I was a kid which means she's been wearing it for about 35 years lol. It's exactly the same as hers, just white, not yellow. I have a feeling it's a bit cheaper quality than what it has, but you know things were made back then. I think it might actually be a Tupperware trademark. I always remember using it when I was helping my mom bake Christmas cookies ^_^ I've searched…

Cuts pecans and walnuts a little better than I was hoping.

This nut grinder works well. It grinds pecans and walnuts finer than I'd like, but it does a decent job and saves me a lot of time. The "blades" are not sharp at all, but break the nuts into pieces quite well. I was hoping for someone like my mom and grandma and it's pretty close. I'm still looking for something that actually cuts nuts into fairly large chunks. It's important to note that this grinder isn't designed for almonds, but it's strong and durable enough for pecans and walnuts, which…
