Beautiful, innovative teaball design

I prefer the "tweezers" style of this teaball to a chain. Much easier to control in terms of shedding. The only problem with this tea ball is the same as all tea balls on the market - they are so small that the tea leaves have nowhere to expand. Also, it can be difficult to fill properly as some teas get caught around the perimeter, making it difficult to fully close and seal properly. Adding to all the downsides, this has helped me brew lots of loose leaf tea quickly and conveniently. I just…

Not strong [Change] best in kitchen and dining room

Poorly executed product. I keep getting a lot of loose leaves in my tea because they slip through the "bills" easily. I get another form elsewhere. Edit: I rushed my last review. After a few uses, I found that the loose leaves in my tea were due to user error. I didn't have it fully sealed as I underestimated how many sheets to put inside. It expanded and opened steeper. Final review, very good product! Once I learn how to use it, it's excellent. I recommend this product, just don't make my…

Ideal as a strainer for drinking water

This tea ball was just what I needed. The ball is the perfect size (1.5 inches) to fit the neck of my water bottle; while the rim of the sphere lies outside the mouth of the bottle. The screen is good because water passes through freely, but most solid particles do not. This allows me to quickly filter out water particles when filling the bottle from a potentially impure source. I can then use the LED UV water purifier in the bottle cap to make the water drinkable. I cut the handle off the…

Pretty good for the kitchen and dining room

Like some other reviewers, I wish this had the "snapping" ability so you don't have to hold it open while washing, filling etc . , and so that it can dry in the open air. Also, I love it! The handle is a bit shorter than I thought so the loop barely protrudes above the waterline on larger mugs. Not worth going back, but it's not a one-stop tool for your tea needs. However, it works well and the mesh is very fine, which I appreciate. I haven't had any rust issues (fingers crossed!). If you're…

Buy Finum Instead of the best in coffee, tea and espresso

I wanted to like it because it looked like it would give the tea leaves plenty of room to grow. It does this, but it also sheds a lot of loose tea particles on your table after filling and after it's in hot water in your pot, which means you'll have to use a strainer. It's also more difficult to clean than Finum devices. because the tea particles get stuck in the sieve. Finum blocks have a much finer grid, so this is not an issue when using it. I've used Finum reusable stainless steel coffee…
