Very nicely done but a bit small

I've never made tortillas and it was actually a lot easier than I thought. This press makes it easy to extrude cakes. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: the cakes are a little small and the dough pushes against the pressing handle every time, making them uneven. I had to almost finish the dough to even get any cake. Overall it is very well made and easy to use.

Mine went in the trash. Ridiculous design.

The ONLY way to cook both sides of a taco with this appliance is if you have a skillet/fryer with 4-6 inch oil. The bend in the pliers is at a completely ridiculous angle. For use with a regular frying pan, some oil, you can use these tongs to fry ONLY ONE side of the taco shell. The tongs will NOT flip so the other side of the taco body cooks in the oil. Interestingly, they COULD bend the tongs a few degrees out of phase, and everything would fit perfectly in a regular frying pan. They didn't.

I love these tortilla pans!

These pans make it easy to prepare a plate of fresh tortillas. I use a large flour burrito, just brush it with some oil, place the bowl in the preheated oven and you'll have a perfect bowl in minutes. I like fresh vegetables and herbs. My son loves when I fill the base with sliced marinated beef layered with cheese, lettuce, olives, mushrooms and avocado. I love that he's eating tacos out of those clams now. Fill it with goodies and less fried corn tortillas. They have a sturdy finish, you can…
