Description of HIC Harold Co Adjustable Rubberwood

HIC Kitchen’s Peppermill effectively grinds peppercorns and sea salt into various textures, ultra-fine to coarse, with a quick turn of the locking nut. Made from rubberwood with ceramic grinding mechanism; strong, durable, and will never corrode; measures 8-inches tall. Enjoy fresh ground black pepper, melange or Sichuan peppercorns, long pepper, grains of paradise, fluer de sel, Himalayan or Celtic sea salt, and more. Simply remove locking nut and mill top to fill, replace mill top and tighten locking nut to desired grind; turn mill top clockwise to grind contents. Classic and elegant style complements any decor; great for indoor and outdoor entertaining; wipes clean with a dry cloth.

Not worth the investment

I bought this tool hoping to simplify my cooking, but it didn't live up to the hype. Its inconsistencies led to poor cutting, which was frustrating. The only good thing about it was the easy clean up. However, I took the loss and ended up purchasing a sharper tool. Save your money and search elsewhere for a real addition to your home and kitchen.

Pros
  • Adjustable height allows for customization to individual needs.
Cons
  • Some users may find the wood material too heavy or less durable compared to other materials.

Very nice if you REALLY like salt.

They are exactly like the picture and work great except the holes in the salt shaker are the size of a match and the salt just squirts out. Wrong, sent back. Maybe just a bad batch?

Pros
  • Home & Kitchen
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

This color is not espresso

This is more of a hazel color. This tree... is not dark at all. They're doing their job and it doesn't seem like coming back. So be aware that if you want a dark wood color or almost black like the picture, you will be disappointed.

Pros
  • Pepper mills
Cons
  • A few little things
