Needs to be modified to be useful

It works, but I had to file the guides on the battery to fit my Porter cable tools. They were about 0.025 inches too narrow. Still tight on 2 tools, but now can be pulled apart without using a rubber mallet. Now it will latch on the tools.

  • Work just as good as the Porter Cable these just have a snuger fit.
Cons
  • Compatibility Issues: While these batteries may be excellent replacements for Porter Cable tools, they may not be compatible with other brands of tools, which limits their versatility

You get what you pay for but it is ultimately expensive to do so!

Bought the impact drill for $79 at Farm and Fleet. Thought I was getting a good buy. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the battery charger and batteries were sold separately! Then I found out that my old drill bits don't fit in this impact drill, the chuck on the drill only takes drill bits with a hex shaped base. What turned out to be a great price turned into a significant cost. One other concern is that I am not sure that if I was to buy a Porter Cable cordless saw or other cordless

Not really sure what I think yet. They don't .

Not really sure what I think yet. They don't seem to last any longer then the 20v 2.0Ah batteries I got with the impact, drill driver combo kit. Yes I did notice more power behind them but as for lasting well I am still up in the air about them.

  • Heavyweight: The increased capacity of the batteries comes at a cost of increased weight, which may create fatigue in users who have to work with the tool for extended periods

4.0 battery pack on my review.

The battery pack was as described. It has twice the run time as a 2.0 battery pack. They work great for me. Long charging time.
