Installed on 2019 GLI. I was a little worried they might be loose so I was ready to glue them but they both fit perfectly no play and in silver they look great in the car. Easy to install as others have said you can find videos online to help and be careful you nibble a little on the pins holding the OEM blades with needle nose pliers but once you spin the wheel enough remains Time to swap each page. I've been working with them for several months now with no problems or regrets.

They look great, there's little point in buying something more expensive. However, these paddle shifters are just as bad as the stock ones. You just don't get a satisfying click from the paddle shifters on a GTI. Can you row through the aisles with it? Yes. You look good? Yes. Do you hear that nice click every time you change gears? Famous brand versions cost hundreds of dollars. This is absolutely absurd. They are very well made and do their job just as well. Very easy to install. The only small downside is that there is a small game after installation. I planned to fix this with a few loops of unwaxed dental floss but it didn't bother me enough in the end to take them off again and they are really easy to take off. Just like that, instead of spending three hundred dollars for the same thing in a different package.

Actual material looks decent but didn't fit my 2015 Golf R very well. It works as is but I couldn't get the pins all the way in like the original manufacturer did. When I put them all the way into the blades they don't move or get stuck. It works great, like mine, but if you look at the photo you can see that I had to leave some contacts. I think that's why good products cost 200+. These things are awful, I took them off as soon as I put them on. One of the paddles still felt very crisp and the other paddle was completely stuck preventing me from even changing gears. I tried resetting the pin 5 times to make sure it wasn't me. If you leave the pen halfway, it will work fine. Once you click on it, it stops working. Return within one hour of receipt. Save time and money and buy something better than that Chinese junk.

Wow. I can't believe I even thought of paying over $210 for a 'famous brand' product. They weren't much more than a tenth the price of a major name brand and for the life of me I don't see why anyone would pay over $200 for the same thing. The finish is flawless, the milling precise. Firstly they don't come with instructions. So if you haven't googled them yet, you could be in trouble. Installed in 2018 VW Golf R. Easy 5 minute job. All you need is a small pair of needle nose pliers. Turn the wheel upside down. Locate and remove the pins that hold the stock blades in place, but save the pins as you will be using them to hold the new blades in place. Just take them. I didn't use the $260 "official" ones, but they turned out to be better than I expected. Finish: Nearly flawless anodizing (see video). Color: Red looks stunning and natural against the interior of the GTI. Shape: perfect for both looks and function. Fit: same as OEM.
