Die adapter works on round and hex shaped Dies. Ratcheting T-handles wind Dies with a 5° swing arc and have a reversing lever to eliminate hand-over-hand turning. Twist lock guide system reduces the “walk back” of the die guide and keeps the dies centered while cutting. "Die adapters work with the 3/8" Drive pass-thru ratchet and socket system as well as socket Accessories". Auto-locking feature allow the tap adapters to be removed safely. Spring-loaded cap allows for quick release of large tap adapter. "Drive extension adapters provide greater access in confined areas when used with 3/8" Drive Extensions". Ratcheting t-wrench works with GEARWRENCH pass-thru socket system

Great metric/standard tap and die kit. I needed one for daily use.

Quality components, ratcheting handle, sensible fittings. very complete set. My only issue with the set is all of the taps are nicely organized in fitted tip out holders. It is extremely difficult for me to read the orange on orange lettering on the tap holders. thinking about going back over it with a black marker, but I shouldn't have to do that in a quality product. The case will probably not hold up to daily use over time. I will be looking for a DIY tap and die holder for my drawers.

Awesome Product, would Highly recommend!

Broken ratchet after only a few uses.

All the taps and dies have held up well, however the snapring that holds the rotating assembly in place for the large ratchet has fallen out multiple times.

A bit expensive, and comes with some burrs, but must-have for repariring old cars.

Quick summary: these are great, I absolutely recommend, but if you get them make sure to to check all the cutting edges for burrs before you use them. A couple of the taps had small burrs in them that were actually easy to pick out with the included thread gauge, so it's not a dealbreaker, but you should make sure to be careful so that you don't ruin whatever piece you're working on.I've had this set for about 2 months now, and it's my first set of taps in my home toolbox, so it's safe to…
