Battery doesn't charge beyond 79%

The battery doesn't charge beyond 79% after the first charge. This is despite following the instructions to not let the charge fall below 7% for the first 2 charge cycles.

Self discharges good for me

I purchased this in March, 2020. It tested out fine at the time, and then I put it in my laptop bag, waiting for my aging Lenovo battery to give up the ghost. More than a year later, that battery is still doing OK-ish, but I decided to check the status of this DTK battery.Dead.Well, not all the way dead, but shortly after hitting the power button, the laptop flashed "Critical battery level" and shut down. Barely 3 hours on my review.

This battery life indicator jumps around from 3 hours to 1 hour to 1.5, etc. You never know how much time you have on this, but not more than 3 hours from the outset.

Not a Nice replacement

So far so good. No complaints on the battery life. For the money you can’t beat it. Update. Battery life is horrible. After a year it barely last two hours.

Great battery - my new review

Holds a charge for a long time when used sensibly (web browsing and reading documents on a X220). Over 4 hours with Windows 10 on battery saver mode and cpu activity capped at 50%. Over 6 hours on Ubuntu 20.04 with TLP installed. The only complaint is that for the first week it had a strong "band-aid" smell.

Calibrates succesfully, lasts longer than the battery it's replacing

Got this a few days ago. Works good so far. will update if it stops working. Note that I have a modified BIOS, so I don't know if it works with stock BIOS or not. Pretty good, just fragile and poorly made on the outside.

It was great! Battery life was okay to moderate in my first week of owning it, but it lasts me an entire day of school. Which is about 8 hours. Just to say it doesn't get 8 hours but it lasts an entire school day. Such as 5 hours of usage.
