Great little remote control accessory!

Love this item! We recently switched TV provider from Comcast to Uverse. While the Comcast remote went through a wooden closet with ease (our cable box is hidden in an enclosed closet with doors over 1 inch thick), the Uverse remote required a physical view of the cable box to work. Since the case that was open the whole time was a deal breaker I was willing to give Uverse a boot until I found this! Simple and inexpensive solution to my problem

Update 11/22/16: This device still works. The only time I've had a problem with anything is when the batteries in my remote died. Works perfectly and is easy to set up for my application

My grandparents have a TV and cable box upstairs and the splitter also runs a coaxial line to the TV on the main level. After granny fell and had hip surgery they now spend most of their time on the main level. They could watch TV downstairs but they couldn't change channels.
