Perfect! on Stoves & Grills

This windbreak is the perfect height when using my Dpower stove and my Esbit alcohol stove as both are low enough that the screen shields the flame but doesn't get in the way of the pot handles . . The windbreak folds up really well and the included nylon sheath does the job perfectly. I also installed the Evernew Titanium Cross Stand along with the windshield. The only caveat I would mention is to take 2 minutes and use a piece of sandpaper on the sharp edges along the bottom of the stand…

Perfect height and well-designed windshield for Iso/Pro burners with separate fuel canister. Works well when using my Stanley pan or 1.1 liter MSR pot and the strainer plates fold back for small vessels. You can fill the fuel can supply line either under one of the vent holes or through the main hole. The five inch height is ideal for my freestanding burner and not too tall for sailing in windy conditions. The device comes in a nice zipped case in a black nylon drawstring pouch. As the zip…

Cons
  • Slim

It's weak but should hold up. With a homemade teapot stand and my alcohol burner (Trangia) it's a compact and lightweight setup that I mainly use for making tea on my day trips. stronger and less ugly. It was sent in a bubble envelope and arrived with some creases, but never mind. It *will* bend when used, but with some care I don't think this will affect its usefulness. The hinges are thicker than the panels, so bending cannot be avoided. I bought cheap brass tubing…

Read reviews carefully; warning emptor

A few notes: 1. I bought this because I needed a screen to keep the canister warm in sub-zero temperatures. I made my own which works, but it's big and ghetto-like so I wanted something compact.2. This WILL NOT WORK for a typical 8 oz canister oven. The burner ends above the screen. My fault for not checking the dimensions. The reviewer has already pointed this out.3. It seems to be made for spirit burners like the Trangia.4 spirit stove. The pins stayed up while I wiggled and tapped them, so…

Although I also have this 13.5 cm (5.2 in) tall 9 piece Bought aluminum folding screen, It is a little low for use in very windy conditions with taller camp stoves to fully protect the pots of food and water on top. Trangia alcohol burner and windshield or this alcohol burner with Vargo hex stove, while I only have a slightly more expensive ($10.60) 25 cm (10") high 8-panel windshield/heat deflector for my windshield and heat deflector for all my camping activities ( Alcohol, petrol/kerosene…
