High Wild Trail camera mount

Robust, well-made camera mount. The screw tips were protected and well packaged. I use them and recommend them to others.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Almost never

Great for game cameras and great price

Fast delivery and good price, suited my game cameras and much better than elastic mounting cords. Easy to assemble, it is easiest to pre-drill a hole or hammer in a nail to start working on the hole.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Long time

Less than you think and act!

Set of 3 received and used immediately. They work great. Consider how much space your camera will need to rotate on the mount so you don't overtighten the mount in the tree. Make your life easier with Eichen & Co. and use a cordless pilot hole drill. The finishes are good and they just blend with the trees! Great offer!

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great option for a trail camera mount

After struggling with the trail camera straps I gave them a try and they are great. Much easier to position the camera and they hold it better than straps. It takes less than half the time to find the perfect branch and then use three hands to attach it. They worked so well my hunting buddy bought the same ones.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Very expensive

The camera bolts are too short.

Good idea but I ended up taking a flashlight and heating the bend where the camera attaches to create a gap between the camera and the mount. I bent it 90 degrees and repainted it. Everything seems to be working fine now. I'll do the rest the same way. The chamber had a concave shape. If it had a flat back it wouldn't be a problem, but there seem to be some brands that are shaped and require a longer bobby pin or other curve.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Neutral

Good idea but not good for wildlife and trail cameras

I have found that after screwing in the tree there is not enough clearance to screw the camera to this unit, it needs to be longer. I have one of the smallest Browning cameras and it won't rotate without hitting a tree. I had to lengthen the strut and then turn to face the camera to screw the strut back into the wood. One thing I found out as well is that you better be careful that you have the right camera angle as there is no adjustment. Spend the extra money and buy something that has a ball

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

But good idea. Not suitable for sports and fitness

I found that after screwing the tree, there is not enough space to screw the camera to this unit, it needs to be longer. I have one of the smallest Browning cameras and it won't rotate without hitting a tree. I had to lengthen the strut and then turn it towards the camera to screw the strut back into the wood. One thing I found out as well is that you better be careful that you have the right camera angle as there is no adjustment. Spend the extra money and buy something that has a ball head…

Pros
  • sports and outdoor activities
Cons
  • small parts
