Description of ๐Ÿ“ถ High-Quality HiLetgo Channel Isolation Support Trigger: Optimal Isolation for Enhanced Performance

Module uses genuine high quality relay, normally open interface maximum load: AC 250V / 10A, DC 30V / 10A. Using optocoupler chip isolation, strong drive capability, stable performance; trigger current 5mA. Module can be set by jumper high or low trigger. Fault-tolerant design, even if the control line is broken, the relay will not move. The interface design of human nature, all interfaces are available through a direct connection terminal leads, very convenient.

Requires 12V power but no 12V trigger

Ordered by mistake without realizing it was a 12V device. It was too late to cancel the order when I noticed, but when the item arrived I found that although it does require 12V power, it uses the Raspberry's 3.3V GPIO signal Pi works fine. Luckily in my case my system has a 12V power supply so I can use this device. If anyone is wondering if you are providing 12V power, you can successfully power them with a 3.3V logic signal from a Pi or other device. It looks like only the power supply needs

Pros
  • Human interface design, all interfaces are accessible via direct clamp connection, very convenient
Cons
  • old

Perfect for fireplace switch

I need a relay for my fireplace. I got tired of opening the bottom access panel to turn the fireplace on and off. Luckily I had a 110 volt outlet plugged into the wall. This was used for a chimney fan. So I plugged this relay into an old 12v power supply I had laying around and plugged it into a switched outlet. Then I connected the wires of the small toggle switch that lights the chimney and connected it to the relay. Works like clockwork. Now I can easily turn the fireplace on and off withโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Module can be installed with jumper high or low trigger
Cons
  • I don't remember

Not working as expected

This item just didn't work for me. I bought them for a hobby with model trains, expecting to power the relay with 12V DC using the DC and DC+ terminals to turn on the relay. And then on the secondary when the relay electrically connects the "no" and "com" terminals which then completes the circuit on that secondary which is powered separately. I especially liked that it had small screw terminals so I didn't have to solder anything. In the photos it looked perfect for my application. But noโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Module uses high quality original relay, normally open interface. Maximum load: 250 VAC / 10 A, 30 VDC / 10 A
Cons
  • Very expensive
