Description of HighLetgo Compatible Duemilanove Driver Shield

Characteristics

Highly Efficient DC Motor Drive Module

The HiLetgo Driver Shield, compatible with Duemilanove and other Arduino boards, is a versatile and commonly used DC motor drive module. Its exceptional performance is attributed to the implementation of the 293 chip DC motor driver, which operates with a small current. This innovative driver chip enables seamless utilization of DC motors and power supplies up to 10 Volts, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Whether you're working on small-scale projects or dealing with more substantial motors, this shield can handle it all. With a maximum current supply of 600mA per channel, it ensures smooth and reliable motor operations in various industrial electrical setups.

Tested Compatibility

One of the standout features of the HiLetgo Driver Shield is its extensive compatibility testing. It has been rigorously tested to ensure seamless integration with popular Arduino boards, including the Mega, Diecimila, and Duemilanove. This compatibility opens up a world of possibilities for makers, hobbyists, and professionals in the field of electrical controls and indicators. The shield's ease of integration with different Arduino boards simplifies the setup process, saving valuable time and effort.

Reliable Solution for Diverse Applications

Whether you're a seasoned professional or an aspiring electronics enthusiast, the HiLetgo Driver Shield proves to be an invaluable tool. Its reliability, efficiency, and compatibility make it a go-to choice for various applications. Here are some areas where this product can be used effectively:

  • Robotic Systems: Enhance the motor control capabilities of your robotic projects with this driver shield.
  • Automated Machinery: Implement precise and controlled motion in industrial automation systems.
  • Smart Home Gadgets: Create smart devices with motor-driven components for home automation.
  • Educational Projects: Ideal for educational purposes to demonstrate motor control concepts.
  • DIY Electronics: Bring your creative ideas to life by integrating motors into your DIY electronics projects.
  • This is a commonly used DC motor drive module, using a small current 293 chip DC motor driver chip. Using this chip you can use DC motors and power supplies of up to 10 Volts, that some pretty big motors and the chip can supply a maximum current of 600mA per channel. Tested compatible for Arduino Mega, Diecimila & Duemilanove. 2 interface for 5V Servo connected to the Arduino's high-resolution dedicated timer - no jitter. Multi-function, easy to operate, a strong driver library support and feature updates.

Good work. great for the price

so I hooked it up to work with two Nema 17 stepper motors. It worked well. It was stated that it could work on 24V but without amplifier tuning. I just assumed it could handle up to 2 amps to drive two stepper motors. The capacitor exploded in my ear. Oh. Otherwise it works fine, but try lowering it below 2 amps at 24 volts.

Works great in motor speed controllers

I tested it when I received it and it was fine. I hooked up two 5vdc motors to it, got some Arduino code and had fun making the motors do different things. I pulled the yellow jumper so I can power the Arduino separately from this motor driver. To power this driver I had an AC-DC converter that plugs into an electronic device that I no longer use. It outputs 12V DC, which was enough for the motors I was playing with (I cut the connector off the converter). and its soldered). stranded wire to…

Poor quality fries. The rest is great.

Both L293D chips did not work. I don't have a surge. I switched the engines to M1, M2, M3 and M4 and changed the code accordingly each time. I also used V1 of the AF library to customize this version of the shield. I then pulled each IC out of its socket to do a basic test using the code I had previously used successfully on the L293D ICs. They definitely don't work, the IC tips or leads are white from oxidation and very flexible. I have used high quality L293Ds in the past and they had much…
