This is a worthy product for the price. It detects motion and has settings for light sensitivity, PIR sensitivity and "on" time after motion detection. However, there were no instructions included. In addition, the light sensitivity setting can be switched on/off; There's a point where it doesn't seem sensitive enough, but a slight tweak seems to make it overly sensitive, although I've found settings I could live with. I have ordered three of these sensors for security lights. There are no instructions, but they were easy enough to hook up (blue - ground, brown - power from source, red - power to light). They seemed to be working great until the first rain and one of them completely filled with water! I'm not even sure how that much water got in as it took me forever to shake most of it out.
