Inexpensive postage stamp sized Bluetooth module for small projects.

Ideal for small, simple or hobbyist projects where you need a Bluetooth audio device but don't need a high quality one. Resonator for electronics that required a separate amplifier for monophonic reasons. I connected ground to ground and twisted the channels together and got a simple mono solution for little money. The matching BT DAC/AMP build-in boards were stereo and didn't work for me.

Pros
  • Receiver and Amplifier
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Easy to use. - Receiver and amplifier

Easy to add BlueTooth to old audio devices. Very sensitive to power supply noise. Runs better on batteries. I have a hum with a 5V regulator and filter capacitor from an existing appliance power supply. One online recommendation suggests adding a choke coil to the power line to reduce noise, but I haven't tried it yet.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Good product very little documentation

*TLDR Great product if you want to use a 3.7v battery read the last paragraph! Bought to add Bluetooth to a very nice old portable speaker. Works great but I ended up destroying one of the boards due to lack of documentation. There is no separate documentation and the images here and other online listings do not show what resistor needs to be removed. I made the unfortunate mistake of removing the wrong board and frying one of my boards. The sound quality is very good, not perfect. Very strong…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Safety

If you know what you're doing, it's a great value.

First of all I'd like to point out that I've been trying a lot of Bluetooth modules lately to add an unobtrusive Bluetooth audio pairing to some old (1980's) radios. But most importantly, these boards have the most pleasing sound indication of both ready to pair and successful pairing. That's not a human voice. It's not incredibly loud. It's beautiful and subtle. One of the main reasons I wanted this board to be able to display multimedia buttons. This is a really fun approach (in my opinion)…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Older model
