Complete repair kit without crimp connectors

Working. If you want something to have a safety cutoff to protect against overheating, this could be your ticket! Assuming your voltage and amperage requirements are within the listed specs for the fuse ie I just used it on my coffee maker but figured why not have spares for other projects/equipment. Buy crimp sleeves for connections. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SOLDER THESE HEAT SENSITIVE FUSES!

Wide range, about any temperature you will ever need for most appliances and devices.

Wide range, almost any temperature you will ever need for most appliances and devices. I used one the other day to repair a VW GTI fan motor resistor pack. When the fan motor fails, it charges the resistors that control all but high speeds - at which the fan is only working at maximum. Correct? 1- Replace the fan motor. 2- Replace the thermal fuse (with 216°C) at the end of the resistor pack for repair instead of replacing the resistor pack.

Very good suggestion for home/workshop renovation

Thermal fuses are a great idea and they seem to prevent many accidents and fires, but in reality they just prevent people from using the same coffee maker for more than a year or two. Partly it's a stupid design. You know that coffee is around 70-80°C and you know that the heater needs to be around 100°C to boil the water and pour it into the ground coffee. So why do I keep finding thermal fuses in coffee machines that blow at 120°C? And why have I never seen a coffee maker with a broken…
