Versatile and Sturdy Screws!

These screws from the Fasteners category in Industrial and Scientific are exactly what I needed for my latest DIY project. The slotted design makes them easy to use, and the pack contains plenty of extras. The Hillman Group always delivers on quality, making these screws sturdy and long-lasting. However, the pack's sheer volume may be overwhelming for those with smaller projects. Overall, a great investment for any DIY enthusiast!

Pros
  • Like everything so far
Cons
  • Miscellaneous other

I really loved these screws

Slotted head screws are almost impossible to find at your local hardware store. I used them on my beautiful open antique hinges that were on my grandma's kitchen cabinets (and bathroom cabinets) and I wanted the hinges to look perfect. This is compliant.

Pros
  • Wood screws are used when joining two pieces of wood
Cons
  • Out of fashion

good solid hardware

I bought several chrome and porcelain coat hooks, the pan head screws that came with them were of poor quality, the heads were deformed and for unsuitable for use. I've replaced most with "The Hillman Group" chrome button head screws with no problems. I don't know if they classify wood screws the same as most other fasteners, but if they do I would assume my original screws are under Class 1 and Hillman screws Class 5. They are good quality and I highly recommend them .

Pros
  • The screws are also tapered along the threaded part which improves the holding power of the screws in wood
Cons
  • Slightly dented
