some bent some not

So I'd say about 50% of the screws weren't quite straight so you should have seen me trying to hold the screwdriver steady as I screwed them through the logs . They do NOT need to be pre-drilled which saved me a lot of time. I ran them right through the log and into the ground for the ledge, worked great for that.

Pros
  • Removable and reusable
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Broken. BOX for mounting screws

Very poor quality control. My expectations were high after reading many good reviews. I had 30 heavy, real machined 6" x 8" joists that needed to be assembled into a retaining wall. I wanted a quality screw and figured it would fill the bill. nope Many broke, and as you can see the box even had one broken when I first opened it. This suggests that the manufacturer is aware of the issues with these screws and doesn't care. Avoid.

Pros
  • 50 pieces in retail box
Cons
  • Some small things

Just unbelievable!

Absolutely AMAZING! This was our last chance to get the job done this year and 150% satisfied! We live in northern Minnesota and roll 4" x 6" treated FROZEN lumber. We pre-drilled and used 10" spikes and split the logs, tried all the other bolts/lag bolts and snapped them all about halfway through. and never a screw broke! I will always buy these!

Pros
  • Ideal for landscape walls, decks, posts and beams and more
Cons
  • Not sure
