A little thinner than other screws I've used but work great!

First the description I only read when I got the product notes that these screws use a T20 bit. See attached photo. In fact, these are standard T25s. Second, they are thinner and slightly shorter than any other 9x3 deck screw I have ever purchased or used. I'm in the middle of a huge project to replace all the 2 x 6 boards on the outside deck. I'm sure they go in easier than a heavier bolt, which will extend battery life, but I certainly hope they don't break, as pointed out by one of the other

differs from picture and packaging

I received a longer (2.5 inch) version of this screw from the same brand and it was very good and I gave it five stars. And I need a shorter version, so I'll go with the same brand right away. The picture shows that they are the same design except for a smaller head (the screw head is still supplied but the screw head cannot be swapped out as it is a different size) and shorter. When it arrived it was even clear on the box that they had the same design. As soon as I open it, the "No Split Twist

Very strong, very functional, finger friendly

I've used half the box and not a single screw strip has come loose, bent or failed. I haven't tested them in this weather yet. One weird thing I love about these screws is how comfortable they are to use. It's one of those things you don't consider when buying screws, but there's nothing worse than getting your hands on splinters of metal every time you pick up/use a screw. They are smooth with no jagged/sharp edges. But they grab and sink easily into the wood. I used a Dewalt impact wrench…
