🐶 Hill's Science Diet Adult Light Dry Dog Food for Healthy Weight Management - 30lb Bag Review

My dogs have been eating this brand of dog food for over 8 years. I know it's probably not the healthiest product, but it's definitely not bad for her. My dogs have a nice soft coat, they are healthy and happy.

New Light same price, weighs less and my dog scarf is twice the price. For 20 years I was paying $50 every 3 weeks, now I'm spending $100 a month looking for an alternative. thoughts/suggestions?

My dog is very picky about his food and he loves that taste, taste and little bits of this dry dog food! I love that it comes in a giant bag and he's eating it and has lost some weight (the vet is happy, the pup is happy and so am I!)

Our dogs love this food. Recommended by our vet. Light is the perfect formula to prevent our dogs from gaining weight. The downside is that the manufacturer only recommends it for up to 7 years. You need to prepare really light diets for older dogs that are less active. They used to offer such a line, but they stopped doing it.

Ideal for dogs with pancreatitis. Some of the problems I had was that the amount of food I had to give in one session was more than my dog could handle. With other dogs in the house I couldn't keep his bowl ready but with frequent food reminders he started to lose weight anyway. He also seems to have had an issue with how hard the chunks were on his teeth and now basically refuses to eat them, even mixed with stale greasy food. I need to find a brand he will eat.

I have been using Hill's Science Light Diet on my English Bulldog for almost 10 years. My vet recommended it for weight management and I've never had a problem with it. so far! Beware if you have a bully or another breed that likes to inhale food like bulldogs usually do. I've always had an "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality. I have just opened my new pack of Science Diet Diet dry dog food and noticed that the smell is 'different' from previous shipments. I started putting kibble in clean coffee containers because I'm disabled and can't carry a 15-inch bag of dog food around the house.
