This product was ordered well and as soon as I received it I immediately noticed that the quality and finish of the panel is definitely not up to standard. I contacted the seller and pretty much said "this is what it is", "take it or leave it". It does a basic job, which I wanted it to do, but again, QC definitely doesn't cut it. Once I saw that it was made in China and the seller didn't want to help either.

Don't buy it. Some reviews say it works, others say it doesn't. I needed something quick to load my stuff on the go. I didn't have much of a choice, so I took a chance. All wiring is wrong and there is no way to fix it properly as all panels are sealed. It will expire, not change, and become HOT. I was afraid it would catch fire.

I bought this to power a 5 watt fan. It did not work. When the fan was plugged into an outlet, it worked very well. When plugged into the panel it just made a ringing noise like it was receiving something, but not enough to get it spinning. I don't understand how the description says the panel can charge a car battery but can't even charge a tiny fan. The window I was looking at was in the sun and the entire panel was in direct sunlight.

I bought this 20w panel to charge my 15ah battery in a portable solar box and it works great! It also has enough power to keep my RV low when I get some sun. I haven't used cutting cups but I'm sure they will work fine. On a sunny day I saw it draw 1.18 amps which is not bad for a small portable panel like this. I've used the USB connectors and they work fine, but I can seal them with liquid tape as I will never use them with my setup. Nice little panel with lots of options!

The panel is very light and works as advertised in direct sunlight. I love that it has a built in solar charge controller with USB outputs right on the panel. I bought this panel primarily to power a small 12 volt fan I pulled from my computer to cool herbs and bulbs in my garden shed dry. The fan is rated at 0.63A and performs like a champ when powered directly from this panel. I also checked the USB charging ports and they both charged my iPhone a few percent in a minute or two. In general, the panel can accommodate a mobile phone. In direct sunlight, I was only able to get 0.9 amps by charging a 12V deep cycle battery (about 12W total). The big problem was that the charging power for the battery charging pins was not controlled. So if you think you can only charge a 12V lead-acid car or RV battery, you will need a separate charge controller.
