Great castle! Oh yeah! I'm happy!

Easy to transport, almost weightless. Not for a long-term lockdown in a high-risk location, but for a quick coffee stop or shopping spree that doesn't leave the bike out of sight for too long, this is a winner. Long enough to easily secure two bikes or one bike through the frame and one wheel.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Small parts

I like the lock but wish the lighter chain was a bit longer.

Works great. Fits well on my hip. It definitely takes a bit longer to lock than the U-Lock. I wish it was a little longer so you can easily block lamp posts or two bikes. I would probably cut the weight and buy the larger version if I had the chance to buy it again.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Dull Packaging

Pretty but cumbersome to use

The lock itself isn't too heavy, just big enough to fit through the wheel and frame and seems solid enough. The mechanism has to face a certain direction to lock, and there isn't much room to thread the chainrings through the lock itself. Requires fumbling that prevents getting on and off the bike. Back to the Abus 5700, which is easier to use in everyday life.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Compatibility

peace of mind. for accessories

A little shorter than I would like but otherwise no complaints. Durable enough for all but the most unsettling of situations, and light enough to almost forget about wearing it around your waist. Given that all bike locks are a compromise between weight and security, the Hiplok Lite fits my use and gives me peace of mind. Great castle, I recommend it for everything except the highest risk areas where you will be leaving. Your bike is left unattended for a long period of time.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Useless features

Strong chain - Inconvenient lock - Poor design.

PROS: Strong chain and easy to wear as a belt. CONS: Too short! It can often be difficult to find a stationary object that this chain can reach, especially if you want to secure both the bike frame and the front wheel. Lock and key pairing is often cumbersome and requires too much "fuss" to lock and unlock. unintuitive. It takes too many attempts to properly assemble the lock like a belt. This could easily have been prevented with arrows or color coding, but apparently no one bothered to think…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Great city palace! for accessories

Very nice. I like the chain more than the D lock because you never know what to hook. The chain is long enough to block options. Velcro seems ok but we'll see in the long run. I would like the chain to go into the case so the velcro will fit better. There are three keys, I put one in a small carabiner and attached it to the shackle of the lock, so I always have a key with a lock. Via the warning leaflet included with the kit. So many questions. In which country are running over a rabbit…

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Without automation

You'll forget you're wearing it

This is one of the best portable locks on the market. I bike to the local Starbucks from time to time and it makes the whole trip surprisingly easy. The first thing you will notice is that the cover or casing is quite thick, which ultimately protects your bike from scratches and scuffs. The fit is adjustable, I'm 6ft 2in, waist 32in and I adjust the fit to what I'm wearing so I think everyone should be able to handle this challenge. If you leave your bike unattended all day I have a Hiplok 1.5…

Pros
  • High marks for reliability and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
