🔥 High-Performance Hitachi IGC0073 Ignition Coil Review

There was a cylinder misfire code and this ignition coil made my Honda great again. My name is Dan and I agree with this review. (I also paid for the coil with my own money, no fake review here).

Worked great on our 2009 Honda Fit Sport. While I imagine each ignition coil would be easy to install (snap in), the coil body feels solid and they fit snugly, which wasn't always true of a number of aftermarket parts we bought for this car.

Fits perfectly on my Honda Fit. Easy to install and may be required if you have an older Honda Fit. There is actually a Honda service announcement explaining why this part might be needed. Basically, the Honda factory didn't tighten the spark plugs at the factory. Genuine parts fail and you need them to repair your vehicle.

Fits my 2012 Honda Fit. Most importantly, I will update this review over time. Installed in June 2018 I want to see if the one I had to replace will last and if so I will be buying 3 more in a couple of years for scheduled maintenance (100k miles). At the moment I'm happy that it's the right part for my car and that it works properly.

I had a misfire in the 4th cylinder, I bought 4 of these and replaced all 4 coil packs while I was in the engine, the machine runs as is just taken her from the party. If you own a Honda Fit or Fit Sport 09 and are definitely having a misfire issue or just want to power on, this is your ticket. I'm 44 years old and I was very skeptical myself, but I dared, so I only post useful information.

Check the locking bracket and mating bracket on the spool itself, the locking pin on the top of these spools is approximately 2mm or 3/16″. On 2007/2008 coils this locking pin is much narrower (closer to 0.5mm. You can see it if you look closely at the pictures on the items. They don't fit my 6/08 Honda Fit. The alignment guides on the Sides of the electrical connections on these coils are "off center" rather than centered on the coil 07/08 Again check the photos of the connection for details.

08/10/2020. This is for Honda Fit 2010 Sport. Cylinder 4 misfire (cylinder 1 near bell or passenger side, cylinder 4 near driver side). Ordered one (as it is listed as the same part as Advance Auto Part (AAP) but much cheaper compared to $120). Also got 4 new spark plugs from AAP. 09 Honda Fit Sport. My car misfired and after a few days (while waiting for parts) the car couldn't go faster than 20 mph, was shaking all over and felt like it was dying.
