Fits Vg33e 3.3 for detonation

Don't buy a cheap knock sensor. Hitachi is needed because it's a Nissan and because it's a real sucker for access. No questions.

Pros
  • Excellent overall specs
Cons
  • Some minor things

Did the trick! in parts

I have a 2002 Nissan Frontier Supercharger that had a check engine light for the knock sensor and also had no power. Thanks to this sensor, my truck returns to normal operation. Good product!

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • I am writing back

2004 Xterra 2WD 6 cyl.

This is the original knock sensor. Only take my advice if you want to. Stop looking for an inexpensive sensor and just buy an OEM sensor. I ended up buying it because I bought a cheap unit that only lasted about 2 weeks. As tiny as it is, it's a critical sensor.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Low repairability

perfect for Xterra 2002

Installed on my 2002 Xterra 3.3L when I was doing intake gaskets. The previous owner hooked up a different sensor to disable the CEL, but the engine ran open loop. The engine now regulates the time and hopes for better fuel consumption.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • High price

Works on my XTerra in Sensors

2002 Nissan XTerra. Which PITA should the knock sensor set. I bought my XTerra from my family who had it replaced by a mechanic once and they used a cheaper brand. I didn't want to mess around because I never want to take that intake manifold apart again. Thing is, you don't know the sensor is bad because it doesn't illuminate with the Check Engine light. So if your X is twitching like mine, the knock sensor could be to blame. Highly recommended as it drives like new now. Also, don't move the…
