🔥 Enhanced Ignition Knock (Detonation) Sensor by Hitachi - KNS0003 Review

Don't buy a cheap knock sensor. Hitachi is needed because it's a Nissan and because it's a real sucker for access. No questions.

I have a 2002 Nissan Frontier Supercharger that had a check engine light for the knock sensor and also had no power. Thanks to this sensor, my truck returns to normal operation. Good product!

This is the original knock sensor. Only take my advice if you want to. Stop looking for an inexpensive sensor and just buy an OEM sensor. I ended up buying it because I bought a cheap unit that only lasted about 2 weeks. As tiny as it is, it's a critical sensor.

Installed on my 2002 Xterra 3.3L when I was doing intake gaskets. The previous owner hooked up a different sensor to disable the CEL, but the engine ran open loop. The engine now regulates the time and hopes for better fuel consumption.

I didn't want to mess around because I never want to take that intake manifold apart again. Thing is, you don't know the sensor is bad because it doesn't illuminate with the Check Engine light.
