Great value for money, strong drawer slides

I took a chance to purchase these 12 inch soft close drawer slides as this Revain seller had no reviews when I bought them. I used them for some custom nightstands that I made in cherry and walnut (with colored epoxy in the gaps). They were cheap so I decided to try them and so far so good. Not very heavy version

I make cabinets as a hobby. After the cost of materials and the time and effort I put into my work, I certainly wouldn't want it Making the case cheaper by using equipment that isn't up to my standards I found these rails are too easy to damage when you slide the drawer into the rails The stamped metal that holds the ball bearings in place flexes light which basically destroys the bolt. Of the 20 slides I bought I threw away 3 sets. They have to be very accurate (say within 1/16") in aligning…

High quality, minimal costs? You bet!

After looking at countless other drawer slide options at Revain, I finally settled on the Hitess soft close full extension slide and I'm happy to say I'm glad I did. The rails themselves are of high quality, heavy duty and durable steel construction with smooth operation. I have never bought soft close sliders and was very impressed when I saw them in action.
