Description of 🐠 HITOP 500W Aquarium Heater: Submersible Fish Tank Heater with Temperature Display for 100-200 Gallon Tanks

[Top grade Material for Heating Elements]: 500W, 10.6*2.8*1.2 inches, Ni-cr Alloy heating element, eliminated the disadvantages of easy-broken of quartz glass, characterized by high resistivity, thermal fatigue resistant, corrosion resistance and high temperature shape stability, top grade heating element for heaters. [Real-time Water Temperature Monitor]: Dynamically display real-time temperature, convenient to monitor the water temperature. Adopting an 100K 10% internal high-efficiency temperature sensor, more accurate and rapid to detect temperature fluctuations. More reliable and longer service life. [Automatically Cut-off when Leave out of Water]: Equipped with Auto-off device, the heater will power off automatically when leaving water,it’s much safer to protect people and fish. [More Accurate Temperature Control]: Heating part is separated from electric parts, this can protect and lengthen the life of the electric elements, also can make the temperature controlling more accurate, error ±1°F/0.5°C.

Keeping warm for my pond fish

My fiance and I bought this for our 300 gallon pond for the Tennessee winter, it seems to work well because all of our fish always stay warm even after a few freezing nights that we have are still pretty happy so far. !

Cooked Fish - Aquarium Heaters and Coolers

Last night while we were all in bed this heater went out. He cooked my fish and my 40g tank was a complete waste. I am absolutely heartbroken at the loss of all these fish. Even my precious blood parrot fell victim to this heater.

High reliability for fish and aquatic animals

This heater kept my fish and plants alive in a galvanized outdoor tank in temperatures in the single digits. I am compelled to write this review to the manufacturer/seller after they saved my fish life during the 2021 Texas Magiddon Snow Magiddon. The reference tank is 110 gallons. The fish were active and happy during the storm. That is amazing

Doesn't maintain temp

Bought a heater for my 100 gallon tank and set the temp to 81 degrees. The thermometer on the unit will usually read 3-4 degrees below this, often with a "green" light indicating the temperature is normal. Now it flashes regularly and the temperature shows 88 degrees on the block, but wrong. The tank gets colder instead of warmer, so it doesn't work. Disconnected, waited, reconnected, same problem. Not worth the money I spent.

mine arrived broken

I need this thing to work. I have freshwater shrimp in an outdoor aquarium in Florida. The device is delivered without a protective screen. There is no button on my device, you control the temperature by pressing the on/off button. The internal thermometer is not compatible with my tank thermometer. My thermostat says the water temperature is 71. The unit reads 74. Ok, ooooh, finally managed to start heating up.
