It should be!

This is required if your child has spill-proof cups with straws. It happens that I pour juice and forget to rinse it at night. I wake up with a dirty yellow straw that's hard to clean. It definitely worked. The one on the left was cleaned with a brush, but the one on the left was not. There are many in the kit, at my house, at my grandma's and in kindergarten!

More than I thought

I bought these specifically to replace the tiny collapsible straw cleaner that came with our Munchkin straw cups. Both straws were accidentally thrown away because they were tiny so we needed something else to clean those straws. Other reviews and descriptions led me to think these straw cleaners would be the perfect replacement, but I was wrong. They are too thick and don't flex at all like I thought they would. Unfortunately it was a waste of what we needed.

They are good but may be too short for some straws.

Shown is my original straw cleaner (left) and this product (right). This is probably fine for straight straws, but if you have curved, longer straws like mine, they don't really reach where the bend is. Of course, you can also just plug it in from the other end, but that meets with much more resistance. In any case, I think it's my fault for not measuring or accounting for the length of the straw, so just make sure other potential buyers are aware. They've found a better target - to free my…

Easy to use and economical

Excellent brush set! I'm still using the first brush out of the box, it's been a few weeks now. The brush is still holding. The bristles are hard and do the job. Well thought through. Long enough to fit through most straws. Easy to use. No rust yet. The great thing about this set is that it's just straw brushes! I've had trouble finding straw brushes that don't include other brushes I don't need (bottle nipple brushes, valve brushes, etc.). I will definitely be buying again once we've reviewed…

Ideal for cleaning my wife's flexible brush

I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of these brushes. Perfect for cleaning my wife's flexible plastic drinking straws. Cleaning these reusable straws has always been difficult due to the grooves along their length (which allow them to flex). I've used cotton swabs, pipe cleaners, impaled pieces of cloth, and bleach with varying degrees of success. Now this task is quick and easy and the brushes look very well done. I hope they are as durable as they seem. Worth a very cheap price…

It really works! best housewares

I bought these brushes because I recently bought a contigo mug with a reusable straw. These straw brushes were perfect! As usual my vitamin drink leaves a residue/film in the cup and straw and these brushes cleaned it up straight away. It seems that when you pull the brush out of the straw, the bristles fold over and create friction that really scratches the sides of the straw walls. The bottom of the cup I bought is hard to reach so one day I decided to see if I could bend one of them and get…

GREAT FOR Tumblers!

These straw cleaners are great! I'm getting 4 so I can have spares or even share with friends. The design has the perfect width for drinking straws and the wire gauge/gauge of the core is strong enough to insert the straw into the straw with ease. The small round handle at the end is great for gripping and twisting to clear debris from thatched walls. The only thing I would like to improve is the length of the cleaner. The straw cleaner is long enough to clean half of the glass straw, so I…

This is a straw cleaner

Do your kids love cocktails in trendy Starbucks cups? When they're done, do they wash them off? Thoroughly? Like me, you'll find mugs in her room or around the house, and their fluffiness inside is due to mold growing inside the mug. Pooh! Throw in a $20 cup, damn it no, nothing beats a healthy dose of hot water, soap, and a good bottle brush. These brushes are ideal for cleaning straws that have been left in straws. No pointless harm to sea turtles and use of disposable straws. You don't have…

I love these straw cleaning products

I love these straw cleaning products with brushes. I waited with a straw that had an unpleasant coating of color just from the water in the straw. I immediately sprayed the brush with soapy water and cleaned the straw with it. The deposit is gone immediately! I rinsed it out and now I can enjoy this straw in my drinking cup again! The brush is not scratchy or hard at all. The tip is coated with a "plastic" drop so that it is soft when it comes in contact with your hand during use! I highly…

Great for more than just cleaning reusable straws

Love these straws and the price. I've looked for her everywhere. They used to be pretty common back in the days when most people used a coffee maker instead of Keurigs. I also have a Brewer pod, but I still use a coffee maker occasionally when I'm having a big brunch or breakfast. These things have so many uses and I love that I have so many that I can save for special purposes. Also, I was able to share a few with my mom. I have one that I used to clear a post in my percolator. I have another…
