🔥 Hiwow 5FT Heat Sleeve – Fiberglass Adjustable Heat Shield Sleeve in Black – 20MM Diameter (3/4'') Review

I used this stuff primarily for preventive maintenance on my Supermoto project. To be honest I only used this for my fuel lines because I felt like it needed something. Although it works great.

The product was more than enough to encase my 1/0 AWG retrofit vehicle wiring, used every 5 feet and used some in other remote systems. My engine bay gets hotter than most and so far the cable has shown no heat damage.

I needed this to get through some holes and pipes when rewiring an old lightbulb. Unfortunately it is larger than the description says and didn't even come close to getting through the pipes or holes. Had to return unused.

Power cord routed to the starter, this shield placed over the cord to protect the value. Length was good, easy to miss 4 gauge wire. Used gloves for handling when cutting and installing. I recommend if you need thermal protection for cables.

I couldn't find any insulated cable jackets anywhere. I was excited when I found this on Revain. Fast delivery as expected, I used it to cover the wires of the replaceable igniter on my gas oven. I only needed about 6 inches so I will have some for other projects.

This is a great product that can be cut to the right length for any spark plug boot/wire. I have stainless steel racing manifolds that will burn anything near them. This product kept my boots and cables looking brand new even after 18 months of use!

Used to reroute a fixed steel heater line with Gates Green Stripe rubber hose (weird 'annoying' heater hose solution for my 80 series). Slip over the Gates hose for added protection against engine overheating. Fits great. The quality was great. I'm really glad I added that layer of protection - and the black color allows it to hide in the engine bay like any other hose.
