HJC Helmet Shield HJ 09 SMOKE Review

Great replacement for the clear visor that came with my HJC CL-17. Not too dark, not too light. That's right. Works great in the sun and is still clearly visible on cloudy days. I have a feeling this shield is also less prone to fogging, but that might just be me.

This visor is good. I have dark smoke, looks very beautiful. Installation is easy for HJC. I use it on CL-17. Pros: - good value for money - easy installation - fits well, looks like the original Cons: - not as tight as the original. There is a small edge that is not as tight. It is very light and the wind is good. - Fingerprint magnet. You have to wipe it every time. I deduct 1 star for that.

Fits as it should with my new hjc black flat helmet and looks good. This is a simple smoky lens that looks like quite dark sunglasses. Helps bring down the bright Arizona sun. I wear sunglasses and this is what you need if you don't have sunglasses. I'll probably just buy a spare in Incase. Scratches are not as easily visible on this tinted lens as on mirror finish lenses, which is nice. Would buy again.

Met all of the above AND protected my eyes from the sun (I have the smoked version). People can't see your face either. I turned it off everyday with a clear screen as it was dark when I drove to work and sunny when I left - I don't wear sunglasses under a helmet as they tend to fog up.
