Cool and dark during the day but everyone knows it. Racing on streets with no lights or whatever unsafe things you choose, but I can say that most of the time I work on being a safe driver, looking ahead and planning for other asshole drivers, potholes and other hazard bullshit to pay attention to, etc. and this helmet shield does not prevent me from doing anything at night, no matter where I go. I don't have any particularly bright lights or bulbs on my bike other than the main light and using this screen doesn't make me feel any less confident or visually impaired. In terms of construction, this is a wonderful product. It takes all the bugs, cigarettes, and rocks you can throw at it, and it fits like it should. Excellent. There are no gaps, creases or defects in the plastic. And if I ever want to change it again? Clicks off / on after 2 seconds. It took longer to open the bag it came in.
