Although I've liked the visor for the month or two I've been wearing it, it's already peeling off the reflective layer. This is inappropriate. I only wipe with new microfiber cloths now, the material shouldn't be wiped away like that anymore. Luckily it's out of my line of sight, at the very bottom. The 'mirror silver' coating on the outside of the visor turns it into a 'mesh' when you try to remove the visor, rendering the visor almost unusable. The mirror also reflects objects behind you that could be confused with something approaching you. I have since used a mild ivory soap and water solution to remove the mirror coating from the outside of the shield. While I didn't want or need another transparent shield, this seemed like the best option available.

There is a problem that bothers me when driving this type of shield. "artificial image" that appears along the outer area. My bike; roadway; cars and trucks passing me created noticeable reflections on the outer edge of the sign. It was hard for me to get used to. I found that I was constantly checking if anything was approaching me because the reflections were constantly moving along the outer edge as I drove. I bought a mirrored visor because I used a similar visor on my previous helmet (no HJC) that worked on clear days days worked perfectly. overcast and a few short overnight rides.
