Use only for machine embroidery. The files are downloaded to USB and then transferred to the device. Embroidery machines are limited in their possible uses when transferring. File size and USB capacity are important, so 2GB works well. Different computers have different limits, so 2GB should work on any computer as long as the file size isn't too large.

They seem to work fine but the description says there is an LED indicator when reading/writing? I do not understand that. It doesn't hurt, but it's "reassuring" to see the LED flicker when you're expecting it. NO problems writing or reading saved files.

1GB USB sticks are fun and practical! I like the rotating design because it reduces the chance of losing the cover that protects the area that goes into the computer. The colors are bright and exciting and I love being able to attach a cable to tether to the key as a keepsake, or not having a cable and just stashing it in my desk drawer.

Exactly as described. Write performance is a little slower (around 4MB/s when copying OS installer images), read performance isn't the best either (around 10MB/s at best), but I didn't have high expectations and it's more than enough for what i want to use them. All of the hard drives except one work and store whatever data I throw at them. That last non-working drive just doesn't show up in Windows or Linux. Colors are bold, metal loop is solid, straps are untested.

I bought these 2.0 sticks to use with my Ford Sync. I plugged the first one into my computer and barely touched it and it broke. Really poorly made product. Well you get what you pay for. However, I expected them to last until I could pack my music into the truck. I put in another one and within minutes my hand touched the disc and it broke. Don't buy this.
