A good product. Don't stay white.

High quality materials. Works well when installed correctly. Don't stay white. Turns white after 1 day of use. After a while it takes on a yellowish smoke color. Next time I'll buy black.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Discoloration is temporary

People complain that it turns golden or otherwise darkens. This discoloration is temporary until fully cured/cured. after a few hundred miles on my harley it turned satin white. Other bikes may take longer if they are water-cooled.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Not everything fits

A good thing. suitable for thermopackaging, freezing and coating

Worked well, delivered quickly. It doesn't look very white when you wet it, but after you apply it and dry it looks nice white. If you have rusted parts underneath or near it, spray high temperature silver paint first and let dry to prevent the rust from turning white.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Useless functions

Wouldn't recommend it.

Packed on my '88 Shadow 1100. The bike is emerald green and cream so the nice roasted marshmallow color it takes on when it heats up goes really well with my paintwork but it's going to be that way hot as the pipe itself. Followed the directions and it's pretty much useless except for the looks. Instead of a melted boot on my chrome, there is now a melted boot on my thermal wrap. Also, the included steel zippers are junk and don't tighten at all. I've used hose clamps and they work much better.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

Wear a long-sleeved shirt.

Wrapped around the motorcycle exhaust only. The good news is that it speaks for itself. Wrap pipes. Mind. The bad news is that this material is the worst type of fiberglass I've ever had stuck in my skin. The manufacturer supplies rubber gloves, but these are designed to be elbow-length and twice as thick to be useful. According to the instructions, the film must be soaked in water before use. Well, that alone changed the color of the packaging to an off-white. I understand that when the…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • No paint required

Good buy if you want to see what it looks like

Bought because I drive in Oregon year round and spray on the exhaust caused the pipes to crack and I got tired of welding them . This got rid of the cracks and will probably last for a while if you never touch them once installed. However, my bike is a project on wheels, and even after a month of installation and daily use, these tubes still pose a risk of splitting and irritation. It also became brittle and began to break down into a powder when rubbed by something hard, such as tools or…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
