Bought because I drive in Oregon year round and spray on the exhaust caused the pipes to crack and I got tired of welding them . This got rid of the cracks and will probably last for a while if you never touch them once installed. However, my bike is a project on wheels, and even after a month of installation and daily use, these tubes still pose a risk of splitting and irritation. It also became brittle and began to break down into a powder when rubbed by something hard, such as tools or boots. Maybe it's because I never sealed it properly, but I doubt that's the full cause. Fifty feet was enough to muffler double pipes on my 400 twin header + enough to mend any spots where it failed. I feel like I got my $15 out, and the fact that they included gloves makes me feel like whoever is selling this cares at least a little bit about not getting my hands on the fiberglass . I would buy it again for the right purpose
