Great way to place your camera in an open field

Hold onto the T-stand. The wind only seems to damage the camera in strong gusts and outdoors. Suggest placing it lower on a T-stand so the wind doesn't rock it and activate it.

Works great with game and trail cameras

I've read bad reviews. I don't get how difficult this thing is to use. I bought 1 I liked it so much that I bought 4 more. I don't use them on the fence but I don't see how that could be a problem. I set up a T-Pol in the bushes at the creek crossing. Worked perfectly. I put a T-shaped pole in the bushes near the pond. Worked perfectly. 5 stars all day every day.

It is only adjustable in two directions! Don't bend over!

It works perfectly when you have a perfectly vertical T-stand and want to point the camera straight ahead. If that's all you need, this will work just fine. However, there's no way to tilt the camera up or down if you need to aim up or down or adjust your tilt stand. The best thing you can do with this mount is take cross-eyed, tilted photos.

  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Style 90

Pretty good camera mount

The hardest part of using this mount is installing the T-stand. T-stand sold separately. It's pretty intuitive if you've ever used a camera mount. The bolt and wing nut you screw into the camera are left and right adjustable. The wing nut on the elbow and the position on the T-bar are adjustable up and down. Update: I had to buy a t-bar over the weekend and it was thinner than the old t-bars I had. This bracket works great on old T-pillars. The thinner T-pillar required a gasket.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Long wait

Plastic parts are short-lived

It was a bit difficult to figure out how to attach it at first, but I figured it out in the end. I have successfully used this as a camera mount with a trail camera attached to covertly watch my road and this mount worked great for a few weeks and then I decided to move it and in the process the plastic piece that connects to the large wing When the nut is tightened, the leveling piece has separated from the metal and has become an unstable platform to keep the camera level. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Clarity

Poor fit, misadjustment, rusted instantly.

So far I've been disappointed with this mount. The first thing I noticed was that there is no pitch adjustment, which can cause problems if the T-tine isn't straight. The clamp that needs to fit around the top post is too narrow and I got fed up with several posts. He fell twice which is a shame considering there was 4 hours left until the rental. Finally, the wing nut rusted instantly, and the washers on the camera screw are too wide to use with the solar panel connector underneath.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Updates available

Find Something Else

Don't plan on installing a traditional T-pillar. At least not as shown in the picture. The screw that's supposed to attach the mechanism to the post isn't long enough to get inside in the first place, and while it tightens a bit along the thread edge, the thing isn't attached to the post. The concept is good. The actual design is a complete failure and I've tried everything to get it to work on two different post sizes. It's solidly built and the swivel head is a great feature if it actually…

Plastic parts are not durable.

It was a bit difficult to figure out how to attach it at first, but finally I figured it out. Pros

Beautiful camera mount

Beautiful camera mount. I attached my cameras to trees. It's always difficult to find a tree exactly where you want it, the right distance, the right angle, trimming the branches, etc. I bought two to try. I have two food view lots that don't have many trees. That's great. works perfectly. Cons: No right-left adjustment, so make sure your T-pen is pointing in the direction you want it to be. I also had to use a small hammer to tap the bracket on the T-bar (it was a bit tight, but secure). I…

Bolt is too short. Some people may not be able to adapt.

I managed to do this for my use but it may not work for everyone. First, the screw is too short to connect to the T-bar. Maybe the ones in the photo will work, but I have die-cut ones and I had to use a longer 1/4" screw to tighten them enough to stay in place. Second, and this is the part that may not work. For everyone, if your camera is like mine and has a threaded hole on the back instead of the bottom, you don't have left to right adjustment and you'll be looking right down the 'fence…
