Don't plan on installing a traditional T-pillar. At least not as shown in the picture. The screw that's supposed to attach the mechanism to the post isn't long enough to get inside in the first place, and while it tightens a bit along the thread edge, the thing isn't attached to the post. The concept is good. The actual design is a complete failure and I've tried everything to get it to work on two different post sizes. It's solidly built and the swivel head is a great feature if it actually worked. Damn.
