They are perfect for my application. I've used dimmable LED bulbs and they work great. No buzz or anything. Everyone commented on how amazing it looks. I just wish there was a white wire option, but I could fix that later with some wire ducting.

Plastic cord holder fits plain hooks only. The cable holder holes are too small for decorative hooks. Now I have to buy a chain kit to use this as the placement is done with decorative hooks already installed on my ceiling.

Let the pictures speak for themselves. They are very well done. Edison bulbs give off warm light, but that's not enough. More for atmosphere. So I would suggest adding a few more lamps or something to bring more light into the room. A complete improvement over the crappy fluorescent lights I had before because it's a basement room. I add before and after. I also have bee pillowcases on Amazon.

I wanted to use these lamps in the living room above the end tables to provide extra living room lighting. My dogs were knocking over lamps on small tables and breaking them so I decided to hang them up. They were too bright through the clear glass and I just didn't like the way they looked. I tried delicate yellow ornamental bulbs, but there wasn't enough light. I ended up using lamps of different shades that I bought at a local hardware store.

I bought two of these lights and I really liked them. But then, about 1 month after installation, it started to flicker and the light burned out. When they went to change the lightbulb, the lightbulb didn't come out. The other came out fine. But my first brother-in-law tried to fix it and he did, but after he did it the cord didn't work on all the bulbs. These were ordinary 60 watt light bulbs.
