They connect automatically and I connect from my phone when I take them out of the charging case and put them back in. The sound is great! When you set them up for the first time, only connect the right one, then let the left one connect automatically, otherwise you will only hear music in one ear.

I love these headphones! I have a pair of black ones and wanted white ones so I bought a second pair! I have several AirPods and this is a great contender for a lot less money. I needed wireless headphones for my flight this weekend, so one less cable to get tangled up in airport clutter, and it was pretty much just for that. There was almost no noise cancellation other than the fact that you put them in your ear and they muffle the noise a bit. Anything else that gets in the ear canal falls out of my ears no matter what attachments I use. They actually do their job and stay in your ears.
