🔥 Hobart 770460 6011 Stick Welding Electrode, 1/8 Diameter, 10lbs Weight Review

This is 1/8 6011, the rod is as good as any other 1/8 6011. What impressed me the most was the seller. Well packaged and arrived quickly. Worth 5 stars alone.

I don't know why but my old AC welder hates these 6011 sticks. They don't hold the arc and are almost impossible to start even at 120A. The Lincon 6011 I bought from Home Depot works fine so I don't know if it's the pole or my welder, but I can't use it.

Hobart 6011 1/8 bar or larger have used many of these. But why were they packed in a box that was five times bigger than it should have been and didn't offer any extra support at all? The crate poles were in Hobart they moved so much on the way they burst and spilled the poles into the crate very poor John please do Revain please try heavy packages better. Many Thanks.

I ordered these because they are a brand and they come in a protective tube as my welding rod is often delayed for a long time. The bottom was broken from a tube that was cheap molded plastic rather than high quality blown plastic like my 25 year old weld rod tubes. Should I return something because the package is damaged and risk receiving another damaged package?

I hate to give Hobart 2 stars but damn these sticks work horribly, the arc goes out every 4-5 seconds from the moment you press the Arc starting to actually drop the bead, I have used Hobart Brand Filler many times and never expected such a poor preform product from Hobart and I am stuck with a 10lb rod that barely works, very disappointed.
