The Hobart fiberglass welding tool is impressive. My analysis of this tool showed that it's heat-treated and has a sturdy construction, making it durable and long-lasting. It's easy to handle, and the fiberglass coating provides an excellent non-slip grip. However, the cons are that it's quite expensive and its use is limited to welding. Overall, I highly recommend this tool for any welding job.

Definitely much heavier than expected, great quality! Haven't burned it yet but expect it to be as advertised. I'm glad I spent a few extra dollars and bought a Hobart branded product.

Bought a couple of these to protect things in the garage from slag and grinding sparks. Garage fires aren't what I want, especially as fires like this smolder for hours before they catch fire.So I covered and welded some items.Looking at the blanket afterwards they were indeed marked not burned.So they work.Heavy duty fiberglass blanket, well made and resistant to burning at very high temperatures.
